Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be misleading, King Charles III is 73 going on 74. His wife, the Queen Consort, is 75 years old.

King Charles III

Charles III, formerly known as Prince Charles, was born on November 14, 1948, which makes him 73 of age, soon to become 74 years old.

Being the eldest child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, duke of Edinburgh, Charles III was the heir and was proclaimed king following the death of his mother.

On July 29, 1981, Charles III married Lady Diana Spencer. Their first child, Prince William of Wales, is now the first in line of succession to the throne.

Following their divorce, and the tragic death of Princess Diana, Charles III married Camilla Parker Bowles on April 9, 2005. After the wedding, Parker Bowles became the Duchess of Cornwall, and following Queen Elizabeth II’s death, she took the title of the Queen Consort.

The Coronation of King Charles III

The date of the coronation of King Charles III has not been announced yet. Queen Elizabeth’s coronation did not take place until more than a year after she was proclaimed Queen. Elizabeth II ascended the throne in February 1952 and was formally crowned in June 1953. King Charles III’s coronation is also expected to take place in 2023.
