Following the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, social media users shared an infographic image, which allegedly shows that the former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein is buried with Queen Elizabeth II and other members of the royal family.

Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be satirical. The image has been digitally altered to add Saddam Hussein.
Misbar’s investigation revealed that the original infographic image has been published by several media outlets. As can be seen below, the original infographic image only has the coffins of some of the members of the British royal family.

Where Is Saddam Hussein Buried?
According to Reuters, Associated Press, The Washington Post, and several other reliable sources, the former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein is buried in a tomb in his birthplace of Auja, around 95 miles north of Baghdad.
Although the altered image was first shared as a visual satire, it has misled many people who believed it to be true.
