Cartoon Network Merges with Warner Bros
While The famous American animation channel and studio Cartoon Network has now merged with Warner Bros, it is not shutting down and its studio will remain distinct.
According to Polygon, “While the three brand labels Warner Bros. Animation (WBA), Cartoon Network Studios (CNS), and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe will remain distinct, WBA and CNS development and production teams will be brought under one division.”
The change is not exclusive to Cartoon Network, HBO Max and Discovery Plus are also set to merge as one streaming service in 2023.
The merge has been stirring debates online especially because over 120 jobs were terminated after Cartoon Network merged with Warner Bros.
