Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be true.
The photo shows Mystic Mountain, which is situated within the Carina Nebula.
Carina Nebula’s Mystic Mountain
According to Nasa’s website, Mystic Mountain lies within the Carina Nebula. Nasa’s website explains: “This three-light-year-tall cosmic pinnacle, imaged by the Hubble Space Telescope’s Wide Field Camera 3 in 2010, is made up primarily of dust and gas, and exhibits signs of intense star-forming activity. The colors in this composite image correspond to the glow of oxygen (blue), hydrogen and nitrogen (green) and sulfur (red).”

Mystic Mountain Is Being Destroyed
Misbar’s team found an article explaining that the Mystic Mountain is being destroyed.
“Within a few million years, the head of this giant, as well as most of its body, will have been completely evaporated by internal and surrounding stars,” the article mentioned.
The article, published by Nasa Science, published the circulating photo explaining that it was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope.
