ICRC Still Operates in Ukraine
On October 10, the International Committee of the Red Cross clarified on Twitter that it is still operating in Ukraine.
Furthermore, the Ukrainian Red Cross issued a statement denying the claims regarding ceasing activities.
They also stated that the organization is operating in an enhanced capacity.
Crimea Bridge Attack
After an explosion damaged the only bridge connecting Crimea to Russia, the claim began to circulate.
The claim originated in a Reuters article published on October 10, which was later updated.
According to the updated Reuters article, the ICRC only temporarily paused its fieldwork, and humanitarian workers on Monday.
The Crimean Bridge caught fire at 6:07 am on October 8, 2022, after an explosion on the section of the road. Two of the bridge's traffic spans collapsed into the river.
