French Farmers Dumping Manure
Our team found that the video was first published on April 29, 2022, by a Twitter account under the name "Pelham."
The same video was published by a Russian website called "Life" on April 30, 2022.
The video features French farmers unloading trucks of manure on roads to protest against rising prices at the time.
Around 500 farmers participated in a protest against rising fuel prices in the southwestern French city of Pau by throwing dung in front of large shops.
Manure, tires, and rubbish were thrown in front of the doors of prominent supermarkets and shopping malls like Town Hall, Pau, Leclerc, and Carrefour as farmers on tractors passed through the city's central streets. The protest came to a halt at the prefecture building, where several tons of trash had been thrown at the door.
The article reported that the outraged farmers proclaimed: "We are robbed twice: when we buy raw materials and sell our products."
