Eduardo Camavinga, a midfielder for Real Madrid, is on the official squad of the French national team. 

The footballer did not announce his absence from the tournament.

France’s World Cup Squad Officially Announced

On November 9, France's national team coach, Didier Deschamps, chose 25 players from a possible total of 26 for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Several media outlets reported that the French list included goalkeepers Hugo Lloris (Tottenham Hotspur/ENG), Steve Mandanda (Rennes/FRA), and Alphonse Areola (West Ham United/ENG).

France's defenders have been announced as follows: Lucas Hernandez (Bayern Munich/GER), Théo Hernandez (AC Milan/ITA), Presnel Kimpembe (Paris Saint-Germain), Ibrahima Konaté (Liverpool/ENG), Jules Koundé (Barcelona/ESP), Benjamin Pavard (Bayern Munich/GER), William Saliba (Arsenal/ENG), and Raphael Varane (Manchester United/ENG).

The selected  midfielders are: Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid/ESP), Youssouf Fofana (Monaco), Matteo Guendouzi (Marseille), Adrien Rabiot (Juventus/ITA), Aurélien Tchouaméni (Real Madrid/ESP), and Jordan Veretout (Marseille) have been announced.

Forwards are: Karim Benzema (Real Madrid/ESP), Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich/GER), Ousmane Dembélé (Barcelona/ESP), Olivier Giroud (AC Milan/ITA), Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid/ESP), Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain), and Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig/GER), according to Deschamps.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup 

The claim began to circulate just days before the World Cup Qatar 2022.

After winning the entire tournament in Russia in 2018, the French national team will compete in Group D against Australia and Denmark. 

This time, Tunisia will also join the group.
