Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be misleading.
The two videos are old, and the Palestinian flag and solidarity words were not displayed days before the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Misbar traced the origin of the first clip to a video shared on the TikTok app on August 11, 2022,
The second video clip, which is also displayed below, was posted to Tiktok on August 8, 2022.
Qatar Stands with Gaza After Israeli Military Attack
In August, the Arabic Al-Jazeera Palestine Facebook page and other international media published similar images.
The images were shared with captions and reports that the Jaber Towers in the Lusail district of Doha, Qatar displayed the Palestinian flag with the slogan "Gaza is in our hearts."
This move was made in solidarity with Gaza following Israeli occupation military attacks that lasted three days and killed dozens of people.
Israel launched a three-day military operation in Gaza on August 5.
On August 8, the Jaber Towers were lit with the Palestinian flag in solidarity.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup
The claim surfaced prior to the 2022 World Cup, which is scheduled to begin on November 20.
Qatar, who is hosting the tournament, will face Ecuador in the opening game of the tournament.
