Misbar investigated the circulating photos and found the claim to be misleading.
After conducting a reverse image search, Misbar found the circulating photos to be outdated.
The first widely disseminated photo shows Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Mohammed bin Salman in a car in Qatar on December 9, 2021.
It depicts their visit to Lusail Stadium, one of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 stadiums.
Sabq Online Newspaper published the photo on December 9, 2021.
Past Visit to Doha by Mohammed bin Salman
Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Doha in December 2021 as part of a tour of Gulf nations.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar welcomed Crown Prince Mohammed at the airport.
