A photo that circulated online purportedly showed Moroccan and Israeli football fans raising their countries' flags at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Other users shared a video purporting to show Arab football fans cheering for Palestine in front of an Israeli football fan during the World Cup in Qatar.

Misbar has investigated the claim and found it to be misleading.
Both the photo and video are outdated and from at least 2018.
Moroccan and Israeli Flags Photo
The image in question was taken in 2018, according to Google Image Reverse Search. It purported to show strong ties between Moroccan and Israeli fans during the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The photo surfaced after videos emerged claiming Moroccan fans ripped the Israeli flag during a World Cup match at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.
Old Video of Fans Cheering for Palestine
The video being circulated is also old and has nothing to do with the World Cup being held in Qatar.
In June 2018, Al Jazeera uploaded the video to YouTube.
It shows Tunisian fans cheering for Palestine in front of an Israeli fan during a World Cup match between Tunisia and Belgium, per Al Jazeera.
World Cup 2018: Tunisia vs. Belgium
Tunisia played Belgium in Russia's 2018 World Cup on June 23.
Tunisia was defeated 5-2 by Belgium.
The World Cup Qatar 2022
The claims began after Ecuador beat Qatar 2-0 in the opening match of World Cup Qatar 2022 on November 20.
