Misbar investigated the circulating video and found it to be misleading.
After conducting a reverse image search, Misbar’s team found that the video shows the Spanish police attacking women who were celebrating Morocco’s victory over Portugal, not over Spain.
Twitter users shared the video on December 11, as can be seen below.
On December 13, Aljazeera Network posted the Video, saying that the Spanish police attacked women who were celebrating Morocco’s World Cup victory over Portugal in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta.
