European Golden Boot Award

The European Golden Shoe, also known as the European Golden Boot, is an award given each season to the top scorer in league matches from a European national league's top tier.

Lionel Messi has won the award six times in his career, all while playing for Barcelona in 2009/2010, 2011/2012, 2012/2013, 2016/2017, 2017, 2018, and 2018/2019.

Cristiano Ronaldo, on the other hand, is the second-most Golden Boot winner in history, having won the trophy once in the Premier League in 2007/2008 and three times in Spain's La Liga in 2010/2011, 2013/2014, and 2014/2015 seasons.

Lionel Messi Won the 2022 World Cup

For more than 14 years, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have shaped each other's careers and the game of football.

They are considered as two of the most professional footballers in the World and football fans have not stopped comparing the two players' abilities up to now.

The World Cup trophy was one of the trophies that the two players could not achieve during their football career years, and it has been an unattainable dream for them.

The Qatar 2022 World Cup was their only chance to achieve the biggest trophy of all before their probable retirement.

Argentina's Lionel Messi was able to achieve the biggest trophy after defeating France in the final World Cup.

Many of Messi's supporters commented that Messi is the greatest footballer of all time and that the World Cup triumph has put an end to comparisons between the two players.

The rumor that Ronaldo donated to Palestine children recirculated again by Ronaldo's fans after severe criticism was leveled at the player for failing to win the title.
