Nonetheless, in 2015, a set of photos of Cristiano Ronaldo with his four Golden Boots was uploaded to Getty Images.
The photos were taken on October 13, 2015, in Madrid, Spain.
Sportskeeda refuted the claim that Ronaldo sold his Golden Boot to help Palestinian children in 2012.
In August 2018, the Daily Times media outlet shared a report under the title, ā4 Ronaldo donation reports that turned out to be false.ā
According to the report, all of Ronaldo's Golden Boots are still shining at the player museum.
The claim was widely disseminated after it was first published by a click-bait Indonesian website.
