Misbar’s team carefully watched the whole interview and found no mention of the two players, Messi and Ronaldo.

CBS News also published a transcription of the interview with Barack Obama.

In the circulating video, Obama was featured saying, "There is no scenario that any other player is better than him [Messi].That may be the one thing that Donald Trump and I agree on."

However, Obama’s statement in the viral video was cut from its context. Obama was answering the presenter’s question about a quote from Obama’s book.

Ronaldo and Messi's GOAT Rivalry

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have influenced one another and the game of football for more than 14 years.

They are regarded as two of the best football players in the world. Up to this point, football fans have never stopped contrasting the two players' skills.

The World Cup trophy was one of the trophies the two football players were unable to win during their playing careers, and it has since remained an unachievable goal for both.

However, Lionel Messi was able to win the 2022 World Cup title in Qatar before his possible retirement.

The former American president Barack Obama seemed to prefer Messi to Ronaldo.

Following the Argentine World Cup's win, Obama tweeted, "Congrats to Argentina and to the GOAT, Lionel Messi, for an amazing World Cup victory."
