Social media users recently shared a set of photos that purportedly show the Argentine-Spanish model Georgina Rodríguez Hernández in a hijab after she moved to Saudi Arabia with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be fake. The photos are fabricated.
After conducting a reverse image search of the first photo, Misbar’s team found that the original photo shows Georgina Rodríguez Hernández wearing an open Abaya over her clothes without the Hijab. The original photo can be seen below.
As for the second image, which shows clear signs of tampering, Misbar’s team found the original photo on a website, as can be seen below.
The third photo is also digitally edited. The original photo was shared by Georgina Rodríguez via her official Instagram account on December 6, 2022. The photo was taken as the model attended the FIFA world Cup Qatar 2022.
Cristiano Ronaldo Signed With Al-Nassr FC
The claim is circulating after Cristiano Ronaldo official joined Al-Nassr FC.
In a deal estimated to be worth more than 200 million Euros, Cristiano Ronaldo signed his contract with Al-Nassr FC.
Ronaldo will earn $75 million a year. The contract reportedly includes financial incentives through advertising.
Ronaldo, who is now one of the highest-paid players in the world, was officially introduced to fans at his new Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr on Tuesday.
