Violence Breaks Out After El Chapo Son’s Arrest

The video was shared during the recent clashes between security forces and gangsters in Mexico.

Multiple news outlets reported that Mexican authorities arrested Ovidio Guzman, the son of the notorious drug trafficker Joaquin Guzman, known as El Chapo.

After his father's arrest, Ovidio Guzman rose to prominence in the Sinaloa Cartel. He was arrested and temporarily detained by Mexican authorities in October 2019.

In retaliation for the recent arrest of El Chapo’s son, cartels have unleashed violence.

According to Reuters, ten soldiers and 19 suspects were killed during and after the arrest.
