A user wrote: “Seventeen people were killed, and 22 others sustained injuries early Sunday morning following a severe road accident in Nanchang County, east China's Jiangxi Province. Xinhua.”

The image was taken after nearly 300 vehicles crashed in a massive pileup on a foggy bridge in China, The New York Post reported. 

The traffic accident, which occurred on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, killed one person and caused injuries to others.

CNN reported on December 28 that nearly 200 vehicles crashed in the accident that happened in the Chinese city of Zhengzhou due to extreme fog.

The Most Recent Traffic Accident in China

On January 8, 2023, nineteen people died, and 20 were injured in eastern China after a truck ran through a funeral procession early Sunday, Reuters reported from Chinese media.

Following the incident, which happened in eastern China’s Jiangxi province, an investigation was in progress after the injured had been sent to the hospital.
