Misbar’s team found that the first photo dates back to June 18, 2022. The photo was featured in several articles reporting blasts at a Sikh temple in Kabul, as can be seen below.
According to news articles, at least two explosions were reported at a Sikh temple in Afghanistan’s capital city of Kabul in June 2022.

Misbar’s team found that the second photo dates back to at least 2019. The photo was featured in several articles reporting on explosions in Kabul, as can be seen below.
Deadly Suicide Bombing Outside Foreign Ministry in Kabul
A recent suicide bomb attack outside the Afghan foreign ministry in Kabul has caused significant damage.
According to the BBC, “the local police said at least five civilians had been killed but another Taliban official put the toll as high as 20.”
The local group affiliated with the Islamic State group, known as Isis-K, claimed responsibility for the attack.
