It is not surprising that the nearly perfectly sculpted volcano has attracted a lot of attention from tourists and is revered as a sacred mountain.

Mount Fuji is also an active volcano that erupted in 1707.

It can be viewed from Tokyo and Yokohama and is located on the boundary between the Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures.

As a well-known cultural symbol of Japan, Mount Fuji is regularly featured in artwork and photography, as well as being a popular destination for tourists and climbers.
