The Holy Quran Was Burnt in Front of the Turkish Embassy in Sweden

The viral video started circulating after the Holy Quran was burnt in front of the Turkish Embassy in Sweden.

Rasmus Paludan, the head of the Danish far-right political group “Hard Line,” burned the Quran.

Paludan, surrounded by police, denounced Islam and immigration in Sweden during a nearly hour-long tirade before setting fire to the holy book with a lighter.

"You have to live somewhere else if you don't think there should be freedom of expression," he stated.

Muslim Countries Denounced Burning the Holy Quran

This Islamophobic action was denounced by the Turkish Foreign Ministry in a statement.

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms the vile attack on our holy book… Permitting this anti-Islam act, which targets Muslims and insults our sacred values, under the guise of freedom of expression is completely unacceptable," the ministry said.

Several Arab nations, notably Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Kuwait, condemned the burning of the Quran.

Furthermore, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation also condemned the vile act of burning the Holy Quran.
