The users are criticizing the congresswoman’s contradictory actions after she worse a mask despite publicly opposing mask policies.

Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be misleading. The photo is older than claimed, it was taken when wearing masks on planes was compulsory.
Misbar’s team found that the photo dates back to at least October 2021, as can be seen below.
Moreover, federal transportation mask mandate enforcement ended in April 2022.
Rep. Lauren Boebert Opposes Mask Policies
Rep. Lauren Boebert has become known for her anti-mask position.
In 2021, Rep. Boebert was reported to have thrown a mask at a staffer as dozens of Republican lawmakers refused to follow the new mask mandate inside the Capitol.
