Video From Uzbekistan Has Gone Viral
The video turned out to be from Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The clip shows the moment of a car explosion while being filled with gas. The regional Department of Internal Affairs press service posted the video to their Telegram channel and said it was from surveillance cameras documenting the Nexia-3 car gas cylinder explosion.
The incident occurred on February 25 at a gas station in the Kamalak mahalla, Samarkand, and a gas station employee died at the scene. Meanwhile, law enforcement officers started a preliminary investigation.
The Department of Public Works and Human Resources of the region issued a statement about the accident and posted images from the scene.
Gas Pipeline Explosion in Jerusalem
On February 28, Israeli news outlets reported an alleged gas pipeline explosion at a residential building in eastern Jerusalem. The accident was followed by a blast reportedly caused by a gas canister.
According to the reports, a worker was killed and three others injured due to the explosion. However, the circulating video was not filmed at the explosion scene in Jerusalem. It was shot in Uzbekistan.
