13 Killed in the Afghanistan and Pakistan Earthquake
Large parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan were shaken by a strong earthquake that left at least 19 people dead and more than 200 injured.
Buildings were damaged by the 6.5-magnitude earthquake, which also caused landslides and forced residents to flee into the streets.
The earthquake occurred on Tuesday night and was centered in a mountainous area in northern Afghanistan, close to the Pakistani border. India also felt the tremors coming from the remote Jurm valley.
In Afghanistan, ten of the fatalities were reported. In Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in the northwest, there were nine further fatalities.
Previously, the same video was circulated during Turkey’s earthquake in February 2023.
Misbar's team was able to debunk the video’s claim on February 22.
