The Israeli Occupation Forces Expelled Worshipers from Al-Aqsa Mosque
The Israeli occupation forces expelled worshipers from Al-Aqsa Mosque after more than 200 police officers invaded the mosque's courtyards and its roofed chapels.
The Israeli forces imprisoned several worshipers inside, including women, children, and the elderly.
Eyewitnesses stated that the occupation forces used tear gas, stun grenades, and rubber-coated metal bullets to compel the people to flee the al-Qibli prayer hall in the midst of violent clashes, injuring more than 163 people, many of whom suffered head and eye injuries; 83 of them were taken to the hospital; and arresting others.
Recent Israeli Aggression Against Worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque
For the second Ramadan night in a row, Israeli forces invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem on Wednesday.
Over 20,000 worshipers were still performing the Ramadan Taraweeh night prayer when dozens of highly armed Israeli police stormed the mosque grounds and barged their way into the al-Qibli prayer hall.
To expel them from the Muslim holy place, Israeli forces mercilessly attacked Palestinian worshipers, beating them with clubs and shooting them with rubber-coated steel bullets, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters.
A number of worshipers reportedly choked on tear gas, and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) confirmed that only one victim was successfully treated by its medical staff.
