Who Is Halima Al Kiswani?
Hajja Halima Al-Kiswani is an 85-year-old Palestinian refugee.
Umm Al-Abd lived through the Palestinian Nakba in 1948, and was displaced from the town of Beit Iksa northwest of occupied Jerusalem, where she was displaced at the age of 10 years.

The Hajja was known on social media after her performance of the song "Come and support one another, people of Palestine," which has been widely circulating on social media.
The chant’s translated lyrics read: “Come and support one another, people of Palestine. Come and support one another. It did not bid you farewell. Palestine is gone and did not bid you farewell. On Chinese paper, I will write in ink on Chinese paper. Palestine, I will document what happened to you, Palestine.”
