Misbar investigated the circulating video and found the claim to be misleading. 

A reverse image search revealed that the video is outdated.

This Video Predates the Recent Clashes Between Israel and Gaza

The viral video predates the ongoing Israel-Gaza clashes, contrary to the claims made by some Israelis. 

The footage was actually recorded during previous clashes between the two sides. After identifying the TikTok user associated with the video, Misbar's team conducted a search using the user's name on the app and located the original video clip. 

The video was originally published on April 5, 2023, by a TikTok user named "abdalrhman003."

Moreover, the same video was also uploaded to Facebook on the same date by a French pro-Israel page. The caption accompanying the video claims that it shows rockets being fired from Gaza toward Israel.

Israel Ongoing Aggression on Gaza

Israel's ongoing air attacks on Gaza have resulted in the deaths of at least 27 Palestinians, including multiple leaders from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement. As the Israeli military attack enters its third day, over 70 individuals have been injured. 

Palestinian resistance groups have fired over 400 rockets towards Israel, with the majority being intercepted by Israeli missile defenses. These groups are demanding an end to the 16-year-old air, land, and sea blockade imposed on the territory by Israel.

Social media users have strongly criticized the Western media's coverage of the Israeli attack on Gaza, particularly regarding the killing of Palestinians, including children. The attack was purportedly aimed at members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement.
