Video of Rainbow Arc de Triomphe Is 3D Animated
Misbar’s team traced the first publisher of the video and found it to be the digital content artist Ian Padgham, who captioned it as "Arc-en-ciel de Triomphe, Paris. Happy #PrideMonth everyone!!"
The artist clarified on his Twitter account that he did not use AI, but he used 3D animation and lots of hand-edited details.
What Is 3D Animation?
3D animation refers to the process of generating moving images in a three-dimensional environment, creating the perception that digital objects are moving within a 3D space. This is accomplished through the utilization of computer software to create and manipulate digital objects, or by implementing specialized hardware such as motion capture devices.
Real-time animation is a form of computer animation produced using specific software and hardware, often referred to as game engines. It enables the generation of images that can be displayed in real-time without the need for rendering delays. This immediate display allows for interaction with characters and objects on the screen, providing instant visual feedback.
Real-time animation is extensively employed in video games and has also gained prominence in recent years for virtual production in movies, TV shows, and live broadcasts.
Misbar’s team has debunked photos and footage circulated in relation to Pride Month in 2023.
