Scooter Riders in Rajasthan Injured as a Tree Collapses
According to reports, unusual weather conditions in Rajasthan have resulted in floods and property damage. Sudden heavy rainfall and strong winds have been reported in certain areas, leading to the displacement of electricity poles.
Against this backdrop, a video has emerged from Jodhpur that shows a narrow escape for three people who were on a two-wheeler. Cyclone Biparjoy Claims Two Lives in India and Pakistan
Severe cyclonic conditions have caused extensive damage in coastal areas of both India and Pakistan. Strong winds have blown off roofs, uprooted trees, and toppled electric poles, resulting in widespread power outages.
Prior to the cyclone's arrival, two individuals lost their lives in Gujarat, India, due to flooding. Tragically, these victims, who were shepherds, were attempting to rescue their cattle during heavy rainfall and floods in Bhavnagar district.
Authorities had undertaken evacuation efforts in both countries, with over 180,000 people relocated as a precautionary measure in anticipation of Cyclone Biparjoy, meaning "disaster" or "calamity" in Bengali.
The cyclone made landfall near Jakhau, a port in Gujarat close to the Pakistan border, late on Thursday, according to weather officials.
