Mateo Messi
Lionel Messi and his wife welcomed their second child, Mateo, into the world on September 11, 2015. In a 2019 interview, Messi expressed that Mateo holds a special place in his heart, as he is constantly engaging in new and attention-grabbing activities.
While Thiago, Messi's eldest son, is described as the "calm" sibling, Mateo embodies his father's competitive spirit. Messi revealed to Argentinian journalist Sebastián Vignolo that Mateo shares his intense aversion to losing, stating, "Mateo is the same as me when I was little, he doesn't like to lose anything."
During the 2022 World Cup, Marca published a viral video capturing Mateo, the second son of Argentine superstar Lionel Messi, displaying impressive footwork as he dribbled past another child on the stadium grounds. Even at the young age of seven, Mateo clearly showed that he inherited his father's talent, leaving no doubt about his own skills.
