Image of Conchita Wurst Claimed to Show U.S Ambassador
After conducting a reverse image search, Misbar’s team found that the image shows the Austrian singer Conchita Wurst.
The Austrian newspaper “kurier” first published the image back in 2019 with a text that reads: “Singer Conchita, alias Tom Neuwirth, came to the opera ball on Thursday evening in a skin-tight, low-cut white dress by designer Juergen Christian Hoerl and with a bald head. The artist, who is also an ambassador for the EuroPride taking place in Vienna in June, recently showed her new styling at the Tuntenball in Graz."
The singer also published another photo displaying his look on his Instagram account.
Who is Conchita Wurst?
Conchita Wurst is the stage persona of Austrian singer, recording artist, and drag queen Thomas Neuwirth. Born on November 6, 1988, Neuwirth created the character of Conchita Wurst, a bearded woman.
Conchita Wurst came to international fame after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014, representing Austria with the song "Rise Like a Phoenix."
