Misbar’s team found several media outlets and websites that reported the death of the renowned Islamic scholar Sa’id bin Ali bin Wahf Al-Qahtani back in October 2018.

Who Was Sa’id bin Ali bin Wahf Al-Qahtani
The late Sheikh Sa’id bin Ali bin Wahf Al-Qahtani was born in the village of Al-Areen, Qahtan in 1951. The scholar, who worked as an Imam in Saudi Arabia, rote nearly 80 books, the most popular of which was “Fortress of the Muslim,” which was translated to more than 40 languages.
Fortress of the Muslim
“Fortress of the Muslim” is a famous booklet that assembled many authentic Dua's (supplications) for a Muslim to supplicate on a daily basis and on special occasions.
According to the late author’s book forwarding, the book is an abridgment of his earlier work entitled, “Adh-Dhikr wad-Du'a wal-'llajbir-Ruqyah mina'-Kitab was-Sunnah.” In order to make it brief and easily portable, the author had chosen only the section on words of remembrance for this abridgment. Therefore, the booklet only includes the text of the words of remembrance instead of the entire Hadith. The author also limited himself to mentioning only one or two references from the original book for each Hadith.
