The video does not feature a Tesla car submerged in a garage due to Hurricane Hilary's floods. Instead, it seems to have been edited using the Lidar 3D AR Camera Effect iOS app, introducing digital modifications.

This app is available only on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and its functionality captures videos with a distinctive and lifelike water effect.

Several YouTube videos provide tutorials on creating rooms filled with water like the one that appeared in the viral video.

The publisher, Jeremy Judkins, who shared the circulating video, also uploaded a sequel, featuring a continuation of the scene where he enters a Tesla and drives it through the flooded water. Ironically, he tweeted, "After my house was flooded from Hurricane Hilary, I was able to successfully evacuate in my Tesla. Elon saved my life."
