Video of a School Teacher Scolding Young Kylian Mbappe Is AI-Generated

Misbar investigated the viral video and found it to be fake.

After conducting a thorough reverse image search on the video, Misbar's team determined that the circulating video is not authentic. Instead, it is generated using AI technology.

Footage of Mbappe Punished by His Schoolteacher Is AI-Generated 

The video does not feature a real incident in which the French player was schooled by his schoolteacher during his youth. The original publisher of the video, @frenchaicovers, clarified that the video is a parody created using AI, specifically the deepfake technique.

The publisher uploaded the video on August 28, before it gained widespread circulation. The publisher shared the video in a satirical manner, accompanied by the caption, "FLASH - Exclusive video: Wilfrid Mbappe reprimands Kylian Mbappe for his changing moods regarding his future at PSG."

In response to the post, the publisher later clarified its authenticity by stating, "This video is a parody and was generated with an AI (deepfake). Don't believe the videos your uncles send you on WhatsApp."

In another post, the publisher clarified that the video is not real but was created using the deepfake technique.

The publisher's X account is originally designated for AI-related content.

Previously, the account had shared several AI-generated videos and memes featuring the French player Kylian Mbappe.
