The Original Video of Biden’s Car Parade Is Altered to Include the Profane Chants

Contrary to the claim, the original video did not capture any heckling or offensive behavior. An X user uploaded the video on September 2, with the caption, "Joe Biden motorcade arrives at Suwannee Pineview Elementary in Live Oak Florida visiting Hurricane Idalia impacted areas."

It is clear that the video showing Biden's motorcade in Florida had its audio digitally altered to include the profane chant.

Furthermore, a video that was circulated on social media in September 2022 purportedly features President Biden receiving a less-than-warm welcome, with the same chant being heard as his motorcade slowly moves through London traffic.

Contrary to the claim, the original video of Biden's motorcade making its way down the street was shared on Twitter. In this footage, a crowd can be seen cheering and applauding the President as he passes by. There are no audible instances of people shouting offensive language at the motorcade.

Moreover, on August 21, a video surfaced on X, purporting to show President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden walking down the street following the Maui fires, accompanied by a crowd using the same offensive language directed at the President.

Yet, the heckling sound heard in the video did not occur. The original footage, originally posted by C-SPAN on X, does not contain any cursing or shouting. In fact, the audio is muted, with no identifiable speech.

Hurricane Idalia Makes Landfall in Florida 

Hurricane Idalia struck Florida on Wednesday with incredible speed, likened to that of a fast-moving train. It caused significant damage, including splitting trees in half, tearing roofs off hotels, and even turning small cars into makeshift boats. After ravaging Florida, the storm continued on its path into Georgia and South Carolina, maintaining its strength and causing flooding on roadways, prompting residents to seek higher ground.

Idalia made its initial landfall near Keaton Beach at 7:45 a.m. as a powerful Category 3 hurricane, boasting maximum sustained winds of approximately 125 mph (205 kph). It retained hurricane status as it entered Georgia, with top winds reaching 90 mph (150 kph). However, by late Wednesday afternoon, it weakened to a tropical storm, and its wind speeds had diminished to 60 mph (96 kph) by Wednesday night.

In response to the devastation, state officials, along with 5,500 National Guardsmen and rescue teams, shifted their focus to search-and-recovery efforts. They were actively inspecting bridges, clearing fallen trees, and searching for individuals in distress.

Biden Visits Florida’s Hurricane-Affected Areas

President Biden and first lady Jill Biden had the opportunity to witness the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia firsthand during their visit to the northern Florida city of Live Oak on Saturday.

After conducting both aerial and on-foot assessments of the affected region and engaging with first responders and individuals impacted by the disaster, President Biden addressed a gathering of spectators and reporters, commending the resilience of the community. He remarked that the spirit of the community was truly remarkable.

Florida Republican Senator Rick Scott accompanied President Biden and the First Lady on their tour. However, it's worth noting that they did not meet with the state's Republican governor, Ron DeSantis, who is currently a presidential candidate.
