During the five-day Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Ministry of Health recorded the death of 33 Palestinians, which tragically included six children and four women. Moreover, 190 Palestinians, of whom 64 were children and 38 were women, sustained injuries. The Government Media Office in Gaza noted that 2,041 residential units were affected. Among these, 93 were entirely demolished, 1,820 were partially destroyed, and 128 were left in an uninhabitable condition.

Ongoing Israeli Aggression on the Gaza Strip

According to medical sources in Gaza, Israeli air attacks have resulted in the tragic loss of at least 198 Palestinian lives. These strikes were launched following a Hamas operation against Israel, which had already claimed the lives of at least 100 people. The large-scale operation was a response to the desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and escalating settler violence.

Hamas has claimed responsibility for firing thousands of rockets and reported capturing "a big number" of Israelis after its fighters crossed into Israel from the Gaza Strip. This operation unfolded in the wake of thousands of settlers conducting provocative visits to the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in occupied East Jerusalem during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.

A high-rise building in central Gaza City, known as the Palestine Tower, was completely destroyed by an Israeli airstrike. This 14-story building was the residence of numerous families.
