Video of Israeli Settlers Fleeing from the Western Wall Predates Al-Aqsa Flood

Misbar investigated the video and found the claim to be misleading.

After a reverse image search, Misbar’s team found the circulating video to be older than claimed.

The Video Predates the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood

The video, despite the circulating claim, dates back to October 3, before the Gaza-Israel operation escalated on October 7. 

A TikTok user uploaded the video on October 3 and used hashtags implying that it was filmed at the Western Wall in Occupied Jerusalem.

Israel-Gaza Escalation Continues

Israel says it struck over 500 targets within the Gaza Strip, with ongoing fierce confrontations between Israeli forces and Hamas resistance fighters occurring in various southern Israeli areas. 

This relentless bombardment has resulted in the displacement of over 120,000 individuals in the besieged Palestinian enclave. The Israeli army has also gathered 100,000 reserve troops in proximity to Gaza, where Palestinian fighters claim to be holding 130 individuals as captives.

The most recent casualty figures indicate that 436 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli forces, according to health officials, while media reports suggest that more than 700 Israelis have been killed. Hamas's unexpected attack followed Israeli settlers' incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in recent days and a notable increase in Palestinian fatalities caused by Israeli actions in recent months.
