Scene From a Simulation Video Game Shared as Hamas Rocket Launch

Misbar investigated  the circulating video and found the claim to be misleading. 

Misbar's team found that the video is a computer-generated simulation that is designed to look as realistic as possible created using a video game called Arma 3. 

The video was originally published by a YouTube channel called Compared Comparison on February 21, 2022. Comparison is known for creating modern cinematic military videos using Arma 3.

Arma 3 is a hyper realistic military simulation; video clips from a video game known for its realistic graphics.

Israel Mobilizes Troops For Possible Ground Operation In Gaza

Israel is preparing for a possible ground operation in Gaza, with hundreds of thousands of troops mobilized and on the move. This comes in response to a surprise attack launched by Hamas early Saturday morning.

Israel has already carried out air strikes on the Gaza port, targeting Hamas military positions and other infrastructure. Israeli Forces have deployed tens of thousands of troops along the northern border with Lebanon, including reservists and regular units. Tanks have also been spotted in the area.

The death toll from the ongoing violence has passed 1,700, with over 900 killed and 2,700 injured in Israel and at least 830 people killed and 4,250 injured in Gaza.
