Misbar investigated the circulating video and found  the claim to be misleading. 

Misbar's team found that the video was posted on  TikTok on September 8, 2023. The video has since been deleted, but it clearly predates Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Red Cross Seeks Access To Prisoners On Both Sides Following Israel’s War on Gaza 

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has asked both Hamas and Israeli officials for access to prisoners on both sides of the conflict, including the Israelis taken hostage by Hamas during their incursion into Israel from the Gaza Strip.

ICRC regional director for the Near and Middle East Fabrizio Carboni told The Associated Press that the level of violence is still very high, but that the organization has asked for access to prisoners. He also asked for the civilians who have been captured to have an opportunity to communicate with their families, and for some people who have nothing to do in prison or should not be held captive to be released.

The ICRC is a neutral and impartial humanitarian organization that works to protect the lives and dignity of people affected by armed conflict and other emergencies.
