The Video Shows Old Confrontation in Spain

Contrary to the viral claim, the video is unrelated to the ongoing Israel-Gaza war. The video was first posted in November 2020, showing confrontations in Barcelona, Spain,

Scarcity News, an X user, uploaded the footage at the time as showing rioters clashing with the police over coronavirus lockdown restrictions, which resulted in officers being injured.

According to the user, police used motorbikes to chase down rioters as large crowds gathered in other places in the city to protest.

Israel Continues Bombing the Gaza Strip

Since October 7, Israeli airstrikes in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of over 4,137 Palestinians, and the residents continue to endure relentless bombing.

On Tuesday, Israel bombed al-Ahli Arab Hospital, which served as a shelter for thousands seeking medical care and safety. At least 500 Palestinians were killed as a result. This incident has sparked global protests and led to the arrest of anti-war Jewish demonstrators in the U.S. Congress.

Aid organizations, including the World Food Program, express concerns about a severe food shortage due to diminishing local supplies. Additionally, Israeli airstrikes have directly targeted or damaged five bakeries, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has highlighted the existence of "restrictions" on aid deliveries to Gaza, with efforts underway to address these limitations.
