Update on Gaza Casualties: Palestinian Health Ministry Reports Alarming Figures Amid Ongoing Israeli Attacks

As of Monday, the Health Ministry, based in Ramallah, reported that a total of 11,180 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7. This includes 4,609 children and 3,100 women, as confirmed by medical sources. The ministry also stated that 28,200 individuals have been injured in these attacks.

The report highlights the dire situation at Al-Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza, where 15 patients, including six newborns, have died in recent days due to power outages and a shortage of medical supplies. Initially, hospital officials had reported three neonatal deaths.

Furthermore, the ministry shared that 202 healthcare workers have lost their lives, and 53 ambulances have been disabled. On Sunday, the ministry was unable to issue a daily report on the death toll due to ongoing Israeli attacks on hospitals, which prevented the updating of casualty figures.
