Recently, a picture has gone viral on social media purporting to depict an underground headquarters of the Hamas movement, supposedly discovered by Israel during the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.

Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be misleading.
The circulating image does not depict the recent discovery of an underground Hamas leadership headquarters by the Israeli army. Moreover, it is unrelated to the ongoing war in the Gaze Strip.
Misbar's team found that the image dates back to March 2014, displaying an entrance to a tunnel that was uncovered by the Israeli occupation forces on their side of the border with the Gaza Strip during that period.
The Israeli Army Raids Al-Shifa Hospital
The allegation emerged following the Israeli army's incursion into the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in the Gaza Strip. This occurred while the complex was still housing patients, the injured, and displaced individuals. The external courtyard of the complex is crowded with dozens of bodies of individuals killed due to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
Israel's military said in a statement that it was “carrying out a precise and targeted operation against Hamas in a specified area in the Al-Shifa Hospital, based on intelligence information and an operational necessity.”
Meanwhile, an official at Al-Shifa Complex asserted that the occupation forces apprehended several displaced people during the incursion and transported them to an undisclosed location. These individuals were reportedly blindfolded and stripped of their clothes.
According to a medical source from inside the Al-Shifa Hospital, the Israeli army conducted detonations in the basements of several hospital buildings.
Lack of Evidence of Israeli Hostages Inside Al-Shifa Hospital
On Wednesday, November 15, the Israeli Army Radio announced that there is "no indication of hostages currently being held in Al-Shifa Hospital," contradicting previous claims made by the Israeli army in recent weeks regarding the alleged presence of Israeli hostages in the hospital.
The Israeli army also stated that the military operation targeting the Al-Shifa Hospital "did not result in any injuries or casualties among its forces," as reported by the Israeli Army Radio.
