The Video of Protests in Poland is Unrelated to Gaza

According to the Haberler report, around one million people participated in a march organized by Poland's opposition parties against the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party in Warsaw, the country's capital. The march, dubbed the "One Million Hearts" march, was spearheaded by Donald Tusk, leader of the main opposition party, Civic Coalition. While the march received extensive coverage in European media, experts remain skeptical about its potential to bring about significant change.

Warning of Impending Catastrophe in Gaza

According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, the dwindling access to fuel and essential resources in Gaza could lead to "massive outbreaks of infectious diseases and hunger." Türk warned during a recent informal briefing that if the fuel supplies were completely depleted, it would have catastrophic consequences, causing the collapse of crucial services like water, sewage, and healthcare, and halting humanitarian assistance. Türk's visit to the Middle East last week further emphasized the urgency of the situation.

UNICEF has already received reports of increasing levels of dehydration and over 30,000 cases of diarrhea in Gaza. Türk also highlighted the escalating violence and discrimination against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem. Despite calls from his office for de-escalation, particularly in Gaza, the pleas have been disregarded.
