In his speech, Haniyeh extended a warm welcome to ongoing initiatives and efforts aimed at ending the Zionist aggression against Palestinians, lifting the siege on Gaza, facilitating a prisoner exchange, halting assaults on Al-Aqsa Mosque, and “enabling our people to exercise all their legitimate national rights, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital and the right to self-determination.”

Furthermore, he commended the efforts of Egypt and Qatar and affirmed his Movement's determination to continue working with them until to end the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
