Adele’s Video Is Unrelated to the Gaza War
Going back to a longer version video post on TikTok showing Adele handing the flag back to the concert crew, the flag becomes more discernible at this point in the video.
Upon closer examination, we determined that it was the Mexican flag, not the Palestinian flag. Here is a comparison of a screenshot from the viral video alongside the flags of Mexico and Palestine.
The viral video is from the 29th week of Adele's exclusive residency called 'Weekends with Adele' at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
Seventeen Hostages Released by Hamas Arrive in Israel
According to media outlets, in the second phase of the hostage deal, seventeen hostages, including thirteen Israelis and four Thai nationals, were released from Hamas captivity and arrived in Israel on Sunday.
The hostage agreement briefly faced a potential breakdown due to a disagreement concerning the delivery of aid supplies into Gaza. However, with the mediation of Qatar and Egypt, the dispute was resolved. The deal involves the exchange of 50 Israeli hostages for 150 Palestinian prisoners over a four-day period.
Television footage depicted the hostages on the Egyptian side of the Rafah border crossing after leaving Gaza. Late on Saturday, Hamas handed over the captives to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
