The Testimony Marks Israel’s Atrocities in Gaza, Not Hamas
The video was first posted by Al Mayadeen News on X (formerly Twitter) with Arabic caption, which translates to:
“My friend was martyred, and they cut her head off, I only recognized her by her"robe " !!! A displaced Palestinian girl in Naseirat camp, came from Al Karama neighborhood, describing the situation in Gaza!”
The journalist remarks “we will try to summarize the situation in Gaza for you through a little girl we met a while ago. She lives here, and she will describe the starvation and poverty they are facing." Then he asked her about the situation in Gaza, she replied: ‘There is no safety, hospitals and schools are being shelled, there’s no safety, in the north and the south. Everyone is shelled, everything is shelled day and night, there’s no safety in any place.”
At the 0:58 mark, the journalist asked her “What do you say to the occupation? What do you say to Israel?" and the child replied “ the victims are women and children, their bodies are still under the rubble. There’s no one left to pray for them. There are a lot of dead people under the rubble. There are no ambulances, my friend came from Naseirat, and her head was cut off. We have 8000 victims, apart from missing and injured people. “
Moreover, an automated X (formerly Twitter) bot account (@translateMom) had transcribed the video from Arabic into English.
The video has been shared with false claims by the official handle of Israel and its Foreign Ministry. The girl's remarks described the genocide that Israel committed in Gaza, not Hamas.
