The Video Is Unrelated to the Gaza War
Misbar's team found that the viral video predates the Gaza war and shows U.S. soldiers.
The original video was posted by a TikTok account which shares short clips from American military bases. At the time, it was mentioned that the video depicted a soldier falling asleep during training.
Devastating Toll: Gaza Records Over 18,000 Deaths
According to the latest update from the health ministry, the number of fatalities in Gaza has exceeded 18,000 since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas conflict on October 7. Additionally, the ministry reports that 49,645 Palestinians have been injured.
In just two days, the reported death toll has increased by over 500, rising from 17,700 on Saturday, as mentioned by the ministry.
