Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be fake. The image was generated by artificial intelligence and does not depict Israeli military tanks during their incursion into the Gaza Strip.

Indicators Suggest the Image Was Created Using Artificial Intelligence

Misbar found technical indicators suggesting that the image was generated using AI software. These indicators reveal inconsistencies and errors in the image, such as repetitive smoke patterns from buildings, an Israeli flag depicted on a tank surrounded by water bottles, and distortions in the buildings and structural elements, including shadow reflections.

Upon checking the image using the specialized tool, Fake Image Detector, designed to unveil the truth behind manipulated images using advanced techniques like artificial intelligence software, the result indicated, 'It looks like Computer Generated or Modified image."

The Ongoing Israeli Ground Incursion Into the Gaza Strip

The claim surfaced as the Israeli army persisted with its ground operations in Gaza, engaging in intense battles with resistance factions on multiple fronts.

The number of Palestinian civilian casualties has escalated since the commencement of the Gaza war on October 7, resulting in 18,787 fatalities and 50,897 wounded individuals, with the majority being women and children.

The Resistance Targets and Destroys Israeli Military Vehicles in Gaza

On Saturday, December 15, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced the targeting of Israeli vehicles infiltrating east of Khan Yunis with mortar shells.

Additionally, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, declared that they had shelled Israeli military gatherings in the Deir Al-Balah area, central Gaza, using large-caliber mortars.

Earlier, the Al-Quds Brigades announced the targeting of an Israeli tank and a military bulldozer of type 'D9' with Tandem shells in the Tal Al-Zaatar area, northern Gaza.

The official spokesperson of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, announced on Friday, December 15, the targeting of over 100 Israeli military vehicles in combat zones within the Gaza Strip over the past five days.
