2021 Incident at the News Corporation Building

On December 8, 2021, a startling incident unfolded outside the News Corporation building at the intersection of West 48th Street and Sixth Avenue in New York City. This building serves as the main hub for FOX News Channel, The Wall Street Journal, and the New York Post.

According to authorities, security personnel at FOX News noticed an individual scaling the 50-foot artificial tree adorned with festive decorations. When the police arrived, the person was seen fleeing the area. Subsequently, the police detained Craig Tamanaha, identified as a homeless individual, on charges including arson and reckless endangerment. Quick action from the New York City Fire Department swiftly extinguished the flames, resulting in no reported injuries.

Pro-Palestine Demonstrators March in NYC at Times Square & World Trade Center

Amidst the streets, hundreds of demonstrators passionately marched at Times Square and the World Trade Center in support of Palestine. Their resounding chants echoed phrases like 'Biden you will see, Palestine will be free' and 'Israel bombs, USA pays, how many kids did you kill today?' These rallies were a continuation of ongoing demonstrations advocating for Palestinian rights.
The protests also featured poignant displays of effigies representing children killed in Gaza, adding a deeply emotional dimension to the event. Moreover, an earlier silent procession, jointly arranged by elderly Jewish groups, spotlighted the diverse range of participants unified in this movement.
