Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar investigated the circulating video and found the claim to be misleading.

Misbar's team found that the video dates back to November 2023, capturing the moment when the house of Palestinian prisoner Khaled Kharousha was targeted in the eastern part of the Palestinian city of Nablus.

Targeting of Khaled Kharousha’s House in Nablus City

The Israeli occupation forces announced the targeting of the residence of citizen Khalid Khroushah in the West Bank. Khroushah was sought for his alleged involvement in a shooting incident last February. Israeli forces clashed with Palestinian gunmen, aiming to target Khroushah's house.

These allegations emerged following the assassination of Hamas leader Saleh Al-Arouri and others from the movement's leadership in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a Hamas office in the southern suburb of Beirut yesterday evening.

Hamas Deputy Leader Saleh Al-Arouri’s Assassination

The claim surfaced subsequent to an Israeli airstrike targeting the southern outskirts of Beirut, Lebanon. This strike led to the death of Saleh Al-Arouri, Hamas' Deputy Head of the Political Bureau.

Hamas Deputy Leader Saleh Al-Arouri’s Assassination

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, stated that the Lebanese group is unafraid of war but refrained from explicitly indicating whether his forces would escalate attacks against Israel. This came in his first speech since the killing of Saleh al-Arouri. Al-Arouri, Hamas' deputy leader, was among seven individuals killed in a drone strike in southern Beirut, an area controlled by Hezbollah. Israel has not claimed responsibility for the attack.
