The caption of the post, in part translated from Spanish to English, reads: “No one has died in the realization of this protest that tries to make visible what happens every day in the Gaza Strip, we managed to get their attention. Now the hard facts: more than 10,000 children are dead and thousands have been injured. From a neighborhood in Mexico City we show the magnitude of this genocide at a global level, they will reproach us for the way we do, but what is the right way in the face of indifference? We stand with Palestine, let there be no doubt about it.”

Over 10,000 Children Killed in 100 Days of War in Gaza

According to a report by Save the Children, more than 10,000 children have tragically lost their lives during nearly 100 days of warfare in Gaza. The figures were sourced from the enclave's Health Ministry and account for almost 1 percent of the estimated 1.1 million children residing in Gaza.

Save the Children's country director for the occupied Palestinian territory, Jason Lee, expressed deep concern, stating that, on average, 100 children have been killed each day in the absence of a definitive ceasefire. Lee emphasized that there can never be any justification for the killing of children and described the situation in Gaza as monstrous, tarnishing our shared humanity.

The Ministry of Health reports that a total of 23,469 Palestinians have been killed since the war began, with women and children constituting approximately 70 percent of the overall casualties. This tragic toll underscores the immense human cost of the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
