Thousands participated in the protest organized by German initiatives such as "Leipzig nimmt Platz" against the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party and its deportation plan at Richard Wagner Square in Germany.

This follows the revelation by the investigative journalism network "CORRECTIV" on January 10 of a secret meeting of officials from the AfD party to formulate a plan aiming to deport millions of people from Germany.

According to the network, the plan aims to deport millions of refugees and migrants, sending them back to their respective countries. This has been described by German grassroots initiatives as the "Nazi plan."
